Meet Julien Gamache

(they/them)

Julien is a non-binary musician from Rhode Island currently residing in Los Angeles, California. After founding Tiny Room Studios, Julien went on to build Cowbird Sound which specializes in recording and mixing music, producing video content, and managing independent artists.

Julien works primarily as a recording and mixing engineer but is also a CEO, video director, production manager, front-of-house engineer, guitarist, bassist, vocalist, sound designer, and film score composer.

After studying audio engineering at Emerson College and Berklee College of Music in Boston, Julien moved to Los Angeles as a freelance musician and podcast producer until adding small business CEO to their resume in 2022. As an engineer, they've produced works for Aloe Blacc, Tatyana Ali, Lily Meola, A Taste of Honey, Olive Klug, India Carney, and maybe a hundred more.

In Julien's free time, they enjoy hiking, drinking New England style IPAs, sitting around a campfire, listening to vinyl, and birdwatching.
